David H. Moskowitz

David has had the privilege of being part of the Labor Union Movement in Georgia, collaborating with over 40 different unions within the State. David commenced his legal career as a law clerk with the Georgia State Board of Workers' Compensation in 1982 before transitioning to private practice, where he exclusively represented injured workers. David chose this path due to his dedication advocating for injured workers against employers and large insurance companies, recognizing their significant disadvantage within the Workers’ Compensation System, for those individuals who are so often mistreated.

David's work with injured workers also provides him with the opportunity to engage extensively with organized union members, which he finds to be a highly rewarding aspect of his career. At the onset of his legal journey, David began working with the RWDSU as part of the Poultry Workers' Union against Tyson Foods. As a result of David’s efforts, OSHA raided Tyson’s, which resulted in the largest number of citations against a company in Georgia.

David’s union involvement also extends to UNITE with Fieldcrest, and currently includes BC&T (Bakers), UFCW (Kroger), CWA (AT&T), and Teamsters (UPS), among others.

Additionally, David has contributed to numerous legislative efforts aimed at improving the conditions of injured workers. He has supported the election of candidates who are advocates for labor and working people.

David and his wife are the proud parents of two sons. David is a diehard baseball fan and enjoys watching and attending Braves games. He also enjoys attending Georgia Tech basketball games.
